Overview
The Cambridge period focused on passive measurements over very high-bandwidth links, in collaboration with Richard Clayton and Andrew W. Moore. That work provided the empirical grounding for later measurement projects, especially the shift toward distributed active measurements and platform support.
MASTS
The central context was the MASTS project, “Measurements at All Scales in Time and Space”.
Continuity with later work
This period directly fed the later Internet measurements and routing analysis track by grounding it in real operational traces and high-speed measurement constraints.
